Dolce & Gabbana Short Peaked Lapel Suit

Dolce Gabanna Short Peaked Lapel Suit 1

For an evening out, you’d be hard pressed to find something as fashionable as this short peaked lapel suit from Dolce & Gabbana. A textured black wool makes up the outer of this suit, while the short peaked lapel, single button construction, and slim fit really makes this a great example of modern tailoring.

Phillip Lim Spring 2011 | New York Fashion Week

Drawn to a man constantly evolving, Phillip Lim’s latest collection takes the designer’s clean tailored aesthetic to a new level with ornate embellishments. On one hand, refined suiting is given a casual sportswear finish, while in a relationship of opposites, standard garments are given a luxe treatment. From fine prints and soft leathers to revealing proportions, Phillip Lim embarks on a dark spring season that seeks a modern affair with elegance.

Star Style - Kanye West

Kanye West was spotted out and about walking the streets of New York City yesterday. He looked quite sharp in a well tailored grey two-button suit, tie, and what appeared to be a pair of velvet slippers, which I would assume to be by Tom Ford and if so they’ll run you about ($1,500). I like the look, but one thing stood out to me as a little off, and it’s that his shirt cuff seems to stick out to far from the sleeves of his jacket. I was taught that the sleeves of the  jacket should stop at the wrist-bone, and with the arm at rest, the shirt sleeve should extend no more than one-half inch below the sleeves of your jacket. Is this a rule you follow, or are you just like  Mr. West, where you make your own?

Gucci Fall/Winter 2010/2011 Menswear Collection Review

Without a doubt, Gucci comes on top this Fall/Winter 2010/2011 season, with a fabulous collection that captures elegance and classiness through men's fashion. Fur, prints, wool or velvet are just a few new trends spotted in Gucci's menswear line.

Gucci is definitely one of world's greatest fashion empires and the biggest selling Italian brand in the world. With spectacular designs and immaculate pieces on the runway, Gucci has ruled the runway over the years with the most outstanding creations for women or men.
What started as a little local boutique back in 1938 became a successful luxurious fashion house and expanded from just women clothing wear to menswear, footwear, handbags, eyewear, watches, fragrances or jewelry.

Gucci's Fall/Winter 2010/2011 RTW Menswear Collection starts powerful with masculine casual chic looks that keep up with the latest fashion trends and the urban-business street style. Combining sportswear with elegant pieces in a luxurious collection from head to toe, Frida Giannini is able to reinvent Gucci's typical classy style, season by season. Ending up with the most glamorous outifts, Giannini presents a variety of suits for the night type of guy.

The chromatic theme chosen goes mostly in different shades of blue, predominant the dark royal one. We have also pure white, light brown, bold orange, creamy soft shades, chocolate brown, dark cherry color, metal grey or nighty purple.
