Louis Vuittion Island Maison Store at Marina Bay Sands Singapore

One of the most sophisticated shopping concepts in the world, the Louis Vuittion Maison store, will be launching in Singapore on Sep 18.
Designed by award-winning architect Peter Marino, LV’s first Island
Maison will sit directly on water, with floor to ceiling windows
overlooking the bay.
It will also feature a private lounge and outdoor loggia, as well as
an art gallery tunnel of contemporary works leading directly to the Marina Bay Sands Mall.

S.T. Dupont pens by Karl Lagerfeld

Karl Lagerfeld, has designed a limited edition pen line called Prestige & Chic in collaboration with French house S.T. Dupont.
The pens have been designed as an asymmetrical triangular shape with bevelled corners, meaning that they do not roll and ensure comfort for the user.
Choose between two variations: “Prestige” in red lacquer or “Chic” in black with palladium “attributes.”
Rihanna is the new face of Emporio Armani
Rihanna will replace Megan Fox in the next cycle of underwear and jeans ads for Emporio Armani.
Rumors were previously swirling when the star tweeted: “U would NEVER guess what I’m doing right now!!! Hint Hint #Armani,” but now it’s official: she will star in the campaign for both lines starting this fall.
Rihanna is upping her advertising game at the moment, also having just been named the new face of skincare brand Nivea.

David Beckham To Launch His Own Bodywear Range
David Beckham is to cash in on his Armani success by bringing out his own underwear collection.
Beckham, 36, has helped design a range of boxer shorts and briefs which will bear his name.
There will also be T-shirts and other bodywear, as well as a new fragrance called Homme.
The move comes after his successful modelling collaboration with Armani, when he starred in huge billboard ads in New York, Paris and London.
It proved a big money-spinner for the fashion giant and Becks, nicknamed Goldenballs, can now expect to rake in millions of pounds if his range proves a hit.

Roberto Cavalli to open 85 stores in China

Roberto Cavalli said it will open 85 new stores in China within the next five years under a deal signed on Tuesday with Shanghai-based retail giant UCCAL Group.
The company will open its first stores under the new deal in Beijing and Shanghai between late 2011 and early 2012, it said in a statement.
The venture will be called Roberto Cavalli China and will be owned 75 percent by the Roberto Cavalli Group and 25 percent by UCCAL.
Pierre Cardin wants to sell business for 1 bln euros

French fashion legend Pierre Cardin is ready to sell his group and will seek one billion euros (1.46 billion U.S. dollars).
“I want to sell it now,” Cardin, 88, told the Wall Street Journal. “I know I won’t be here in a few years and the business needs to continue.”
Cardin, who has no heirs, said he wants to stay on as creative director, explaining that it would be in the buyer’s interest “for the brand’s image.”

Held for a second year in Vienna, here are a collection of photos taken at the Sneakerness event. The event was packed with exhibitors and sellers alike, both eagerly anticipating buyers and fans. Not content with ordinary stalls, the space was used creatively, forming a museum like home for some rare treats.
