Vivienne Westwood Collection Red Label AW 2013/14 at London Fashion Week

Climate Revolution Charter: The Revolution has already begun. The fact of man-made climate change is accepted by most people. Through every walk of life people are changing their values and their behaviour. This continues to build the Revolution. The fight is no longer between the classes or between rich and poor but between the idiots and the eco-conscious.
MOST IMPORTANT MESSAGE : Climate Revolution is the only means towards a sound economy. When the general public massively switches on to this fact we will win.
RESIST ECONOMIC PROPAGAND A Our economic system, run for profit and waste and based primarily on the extractive industries, is the cause of climate change. We have wasted the earth’s treasure and we can no longer exploit it cheaply. This shows up as a symptom; the symptom which is the proof of climate change is the economic crisis. Climate crisis and economic crisis are like serpents who eat each other’s tail. Economists treat economics as if it is a pure science divorced from the facts of life. The result of this false accountancy is a willful confusion under cover of which industry wreaks its havoc scot-free and ignores the human and environmental cost. The old, blind, mechanistic and life threatening view of economists prevents a true analysis. If they included climate change in their analysis we could work towards a better future. If we want a sound economy we have to have a sound environment. What’s good for the planet is good for the economy / What’s bad for the planet is bad for the economy.source

Kanye West in Front Row at Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2012 Womenswear Show

Amidst the news that Kanye West is debuting his womenswear collection next month (October 1st) at Paris Fashion Week, it looks like he will be all over London fashion week in preparation. He sat front row at the Burberry Spring Summer 2012 Womenswear Show sandwiched between English singer Ellie Goulding to his right and actress Sienna Miller to his left.  He wore pretty much the same outfit from the Christopher Kane show – an Alexander Wang tee, destroyed denim jeans, and Air Jordan 1 sneakers with the addition of his custom Balmain biker jacket.

James Long 2011 Spring/Summer Collection

Designer James Long brings out the oil paints and knitting pins for his Spring/Summer 2011 Collection during London Fashion Week. Focusing on the knit trend which is big in menswear for next Spring, over sized silhouettes are complimented with cuffed shorts and rugged boots. Distressed sweaters with intricate cable knitting and large holes, leather biker vests with matching shorts were just a few of the standout looks on display. What sticks out the most in this collection is the designer’s sorbet color palette, which is a mixture of distorted paint splatters and psychedelic prints over garments. To give the collection some sanity, Long added solid jumpers in white and twin knit sets in navy.

J.W. Anderson Spring 2011 | London Fashion Week

Continuing on a rebellious streak of discovery, J.W. Anderson debuts his latest collection, The Devoured And I. Juxtaposing offbeat formal wear with the trappings of a classic visit back home, Anderson’s man rebels with an unexpected mix of doilies, bondage straps, sheer fabrics and Swarovski crystals. Presenting a quaint vision that blurs the line between aesthetic goals, ranging from relaxed tailoring and a punk attitude to retro-inspired knits, J.W. Anderson’s spring showing offers the qualities of fashion’s good boy gone bad.
This is my favorite looks:

Daks Spring 2011 | London Fashion Week

Tailoring takes a relaxing excursion for Daks’ spring 2011 outing. Pairing elongated features with a muted color palette with soft hues that range from gray to yellow, Daks takes a step closer to the luxury of ease and comfort with a wardrobe of loose functional separates.
