Chloé has several new bag styles this season in neat constructions, which play on the softness of leather. A mini clutch with extra-wide strap, an oversized clutch, a new shoulder chain bag and a big tote are proposed in a large selection of beautiful textures, from sensual soft box leathers to very sophisticated exotics, enhanced by a very Chloé natural color palette with a twist in bright color accents. Belts are like jewelry with mini necklace chains and snaps and strappy sandals in mirrored silver and copper, or python add polish and there is a new sling back with a loafer style front.
Chloé is founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion, an Egyptian-born Parisienne with a dark beauty and a bohemian spirit. Rejecting the stiff formality of the 50’s fashion, she creates soft, body conscious clothes from fine fabrics and called them “luxury prêt-à-porter”. Unique for their time, they are beautifully made clothes available off the rack.Effective June 1st, 2011, Clara Waight Keller will be Chloé's new Creative Director.
