With a combined seven years of tutelage and forging relationships under two of the most influential designers in the industry – Thom Browne and Michael Bastion – New York-based Marlon Gobel has finally ascended the mainstream. With his junior collection due out Spring/Summer 2011, luxury footwear designer
Christian Louboutin made true on the rumors by designing an exclusive collection for Gobel’s Fall/Winter 2011 menswear presentation during New York Fashion Week this past Thursday. Complementing Gobel’s line were a range of Louboutin’s motifs from hybrid gold colored spiked slippers and the calmer nude suede slippers with bauble details on the front.
