Following initial rumours almost a fortnight ago that Louis Vuitton's Marc Jacobs was in the frame for the Dior job, the whispers have been further substantiated by sources close to the brand - and a possible Vuitton successor has emerged in the shape of Phoebe Philo. Philo's move to Louis Vuitton would not stop her designing for Celine, WWD reports, but would likely see a down-scaling of the Louis Vuitton ready-to-wear collection. Until Jacobs' arrival the brand focused on large leather goods and accessories. LVMH had no comment to make when we contacted a spokesperson this morning.

LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton has recorded significant revenue gains for the first half of 2011.

I really like this advertise campaign shooted by Steven Meisel!!

The Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2011-2012 campaign shoot was a complex and carefully coordinated operation involving not only six young, up-and-coming models, five vintage cars and their chauffeur, but also seven pairs of pedigree dogs.

"Steven Meisel and I met and decided we would do this wonderful story of beautiful vintage cars, little dogs and fresh-faced young women. It's a very classic scenario, and of course it suggests travel, but I think we gave it a fresh, modern and sometimes a little bit naughty, tongue-in-cheek spin." Louis Vuitton Fall Winter 2011-2012: THE BAGS

Judging from Louis Vuitton's Fall Winter Men's Runway Show, the MAN CLUTCH is back! As you scroll down the briefcases and travel bags, nothing seems remarkable until you are arrested by the bum bag.

Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2011-2012

The latest collection from Louis Vuitton finds its inspiration in an unlikely source, more precisely–Amish. Subscribing to a bleak state of affairs, the latest outing from Louis Vuitton saw a blackout where suiting was the main attraction. Playing with technical fabrics and a jarring use of vibrant orange, the lineup consisted of the French house playing its hand at tailoring while utilizing modern lines and shapes for a sophisticated feat.
