Everyone has a theory about their collections these days, but I'm sick of theory. This collection is about the pleasure of fashion."In her eyes, the designer was making a statement about the enduring human aspiration to beauty, inspired, in part, by the natural world around us. Beauty, Prada style, is a sui generis proposition. The elements Miuccia chose read, in some respects, like a Prada's greatest hits: the mutated menswear, the bad-taste jacquards, the pajama dressing, the embellishment (and maybe even the Numanoid electronica from soundtrack architect Frederic Sanchez that underpinned the whole shebang).

Singer Ne-Yo was in attendance at the 2011 MTV VMAs in Los Angeles, California. He was spotted wearing a shimmering nylon lurex v-neck sweater ($860) in brown from the Prada 2011 Fall Menswear Collection.

Film director Pedro Almodovar attended the photocall for his film “The Skin I Live In”. He was wearing one of the hottest shoes from the Prada Spring/Summer 2011 season, the Espadrille Wingtip Brogues ($795).

Stylist Brad Goreski was spotted coming out of Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills wearing a Gant Rugger Madras Blazer ($595). This multi-color light cotton blazer features elbow patches, buttoned sleeves, contrasting lining, and two vents at the back. He completed his look with a pair of dark denim jeans and brown Prada wingtip brogues ($795).

He was spotted arriving to Lure Sushi Restaurant for dinner wearing a Just DON Dallas Maverick snakeskin cap and a limited edition Prada embroidered monkeys t-shirt from the Spring/Summer 2011 Collection (seen below in different colorways). Kanye finished off his look with a pair of mustard yellow pants and all white Balenciaga sneakers.

Miuccia Prada looks to the game of golf for a youthful spring outing. Capturing the eye with bold retro prints and stud adornments, Prada once again creates a world that is wholly her own. Outside floral prints and the ample clutch, relaxed checked suits provide the necessary grounding to a season of editorial-ready pieces, ranging from fantastic shoes and cropped jackets to great hat accessories.

The success of Prada's Spring Summer 2011 Espadrilles Brogues sees this popular design make a comeback for Fall Winter 2011. But this time, the summer element of using jute rope trimmings (espadrilles style) has been removed and exposing the stripe detail sides on the soles. Colours are also adopting a more sombre tone, in deep burgundy and timeless black.

What I am definitely eyeing are these gorgeous shoes with superthick soles. Different types of soles (wing-tips, espadrilles, trainers) are sandwiched together to form a dressy yet casual shoe that’s now definitely on my wish list for Spring/Summer 2011.
